This is a small wedding with indoor and outdoor portions. May can be a little chilly, and we want you to be comfortable. Look nice, but no need to be fancy.

Cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres
We’re covering the first round of drinks. After that, a cash bar will be available
2 course family-style dinner

Travel and Stay
Getting Here
If you are flying, the nearest airport is in Albany, NY (ALB).
The Inn is a 1.25 hour drive from Albany or a 2.75 hour drive from Syracuse.
Lodging
Lodging is available on site (Friends Lake Inn)
If you are flying, you may also choose to stay in one of the many hotels closer to the airport and drive up the day of the ceremony.
Weather
In May, Chestertown has an average high/low temp of 71°/45°.
Rain is common this time of year, but not guaranteed. If there is rain, we will move the ceremony inside.
We still recommend wearing a removable layer for your own comfort.
The Area
Chestertown is located in the Adirondack Mountains.
If you enjoy hiking, we absolutely recommend checking out any of the nearby trails.
If that’s not your thing, there are several small mountain towns you’ll encounter on your drive up. These have adorable downtown areas to walk through, shop, and grab a bite to eat.
